Trump supporter, Esther Levy may be my new favorite person. Also, I love her name.
Esther and her retired judge friend were in the mood for a little Mexican cuisine after a July 4th celebration on Monday so they headed for the Cancun Inn eatery in Sugar Loaf, N.Y. They entered the restaurant and were seated. So far so good, right? Well, no. Their waitress was called away from taking their order and told by her boss and owner not to serve Esther and her friend and more to the point, the owner screamed at them “never to come back” as he kicked them out of the restaurant.
What in the world did Esther do to get booted from the Cancun Inn?
Wait for it.
She was decked out in a “Make America Great Again” hat and pin. It was the 4th of July after all.
So much for tolerance in diversity or (dare I say it) patriotism.
A Donald Trump supporter has claimed she was thrown out of a Mexican restaurant in New York for wearing a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat and button.
Esther Levy visited the Cancun Inn eatery in Sugar Loaf, NY, with a retired local judge after coming back from a July 4th Great American Weekend Festival on Sunday.
‘We were about to place our order with the waitress when she was summoned by the co-owner and told to not serve us and say we had to leave right away,’ a shocked Ms Levy claimed.
In an outraged post on the New York For Donald Trump 2016 Facebook page, the 61-year-old alleged: ‘The co-owner threw us out while screaming at me that he does not serve Trump supporters and we have to leave right away and never come back.’

So we’re all on the same page: an American citizen is denied service in a Mexican restaurant for wearing a presidential candidates flare that the restaurant owner doesn’t agree with and that’s acceptable, but a bakery that is owned and run by Christians is put out of business and has its owners lives ruined because they don’t want to make a cake for a “wedding”they don’t believe in, not acceptable? Check.
Perhaps the owner is a relative of the Trump protesters waving the Mexican flag and screaming ‘f**k Trump’ back at the end of May in San Diego or the anti-Trump protesters who waved the Mexican flag and hurled stones in Anaheim 1 day earlier? He certainly has the same level of tolerance for different political views.
I’m happy to report, however, that Esther Levy isn’t going quietly into that good night. Especially after the owner lied and said that Ms. Levy and her retired judge friend were kicked out because they were being “rude to the staff.”

Well the Cancun Inn posted on their website where I complained that we were thrown out for being rude to staff! A total lie!! More lies: when the cops I contacted spoke to the co-owner, he said that I was abusing the customers and waitress, and a half hour after I left they got a call from “Donald Trump” believing I was behind it. I called the local news station and will be emailing Greta Van Susteren writing to all the local papers and Better Business Bureau, etc. All we did was sit quietly at the table where we were seated, and we were the only ones seated indoors) when our waitress approached to take our orders–then she was summoned and I could hear a bellowing voice telling her not to serve us!!
